HIstory

Founded in 1992

Professor Thomas Appiah and college students started the International Healthcare Delivery a 501c(3) non profit organization, which is now know as HART.

We’ve traveled to multiple continents building our mission. In the early stages of the non-profit we’ve mainly focused on BURULI ULCER DISEASE with help from Bossman hammond and thomas appiah. Buruli ulcer disease is a very deconstructive disease. The recurrence rates are 16%-28%, and are found most commonly in teens. In the Kenya 2007-2009 Mission they changed focus to a multispecialty approach. This included Orthopedics, plastic surgery, ENT, OB GYN and dental. In the Asunafo South-Ghana 2009-2012 mission the Outreach team provided outreach education & primary care in addition.

Agyrekrom CLinic Construction

Not only providing clinical help but also clinical construction. Our strategy is to provide money for equipment and tools. All we ask is the community to help provide labor. This helps bring people together, not only in their Community but ours. From the strategy we have been able to build clinics on our missions.
